Unravel each pastel mesh shower loofah until it forms a long, flowing strip.
Gather five unraveled loofah strips and bunch them together to create a voluminous ‘tentacle’ bundle.
Secure the bundle inside one of the large clear plastic salad bowls using a hot glue gun, ensuring the mesh cascades outwards from the bowl’s edge.
Repeat this process for all six bowls, using a total of 30 loofah strips.
Carefully weave LED fairy lights through the tentacle bundles, ensuring the battery pack is easily accessible but discreetly hidden.
Use fishing line or clear nylon string to hang the bowls upside down, allowing the loofah tentacles to dangle freely below.
Test the lights and adjust the placement of the jellyfish to achieve the desired visual effect.
For a more vibrant display, consider using multicolored LED lights to add a playful touch. Alternatively, you can experiment with different sizes of salad bowls to create jellyfish of varying scales, adding depth to your installation. If you prefer a more natural look, try using loofahs in shades of blue and green to mimic the colors of the ocean.
