Spread 2 cans of peach pie filling in a 9×13 dish.
Sprinkle 1 box of dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top, don’t stir it in, that’s the entire point of the name. Slice 1 cup of butter into pats and lay them over the cake mix, covering as much surface as you can. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. The butter melts down through the dry mix as it bakes, turning it into a crackly golden topping while the peaches bubble up underneath on their own.
No mixing bowl, no batter, no stirring, and it still comes out looking like it took real effort.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
