Instructions
-
Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Have a 9×13-inch baking dish ready.
-
Base Layer: Place 24 of the Ritz crackers in a single layer in the baking dish, flat side down (rounded side up).
-
Add Fillings: Tear the ham slices into small strips. Fold the strips gently and distribute them evenly over the 24 crackers. Cut the Swiss cheese slices into 1-inch squares and place one square on top of the ham on each cracker.
-
Top: Place the remaining 24 Ritz crackers on top of the cheese to form mini sandwiches.
-
Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until well blended.
-
Glaze and Season: Pour or brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the cracker sandwiches. Sprinkle the poppy seeds and dried minced onion evenly across the dish.
-
Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the crackers are golden brown. Watch closely so they do not burn.
-
Serve: Serve immediately while warm and crispy. Enjoy!
